Q: What is Macro Coaching?
A: Macro coaching will teach you how to use macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat) to reach your health and fitness goals without under-eating and restricting! You'll learn how to get the nutrients you need, in the right amounts, and do it while eating things that you enjoy!
Q: What else do I receive coaching for?
A: Among other things, we will assess your sleep quality, hydration level, stress level, and exercise intensity & frequency. Your macros depend on a lot more than just how many calories you burn, and we will cover the whole 9-yards!
Q: Ideally, how long should I continue with macro coaching?
A: To get the full experience, meaning, to get results, to learn the process, to learn the purpose, to master how to track your macros, and to know how you can use this information for the rest of your life whether you continue to track or not... I recommend at least 4-6 months of macro coaching with me. For some people, they do best when they stick with me for 8-12 months. How long you continue is up to you.
Q: How do I get access to the workouts?
A: My workouts are are bonus addition to macro coaching! They are compiled in a facebook group, with video demonstration and full descriptions.
Q: What are the workouts like?
A: My workouts.are designed for a traditional gym. For the majority of the workouts, you will need equipment that is found in a gym. The workouts are a combination of Resistance Training and Metabolic Conditioning.
Q: How long do the workouts last?
A: Typically, the resistance training workouts last about 60 minutes. If you truly challenge yourself with the weight you use, that time may extend a bit. The metabolic conditioning workouts typically last 20-30 minutes. If you are short on time you can adjust the workouts to fit your needs. If you choose to add traditional cardio (jog, elliptical, stairs, cycle, etc) to your workouts, that will extend the time frames stated above.
Q: What if I cannot do a certain exercise?
A: If you need a modification, you will text Madison for a personalized modification specific to whatever your issue or injury is! If you just have a question about a workout you can quickly and easily comment on the video, that way anyone else with the same question will see it. You should also use the workouts at your own discretion, for example, if you know you cannot do a certain movement due to an injury, you should ask for a modification rather than try to do the movement and put yourself in danger..
Q: How will we communicate?
A: We will communicate through email for weekly check-ins. In addition, you will have my phone number incase you need me throughout the week. If you prefer any one method of communication over the other, say email instead of text, just let me know. I often send audio message through text, which works like a walkie-talkie.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You must unsubscribe from your PayPal subscription. Messaging me asking to be unsubscribed does not cancel your membership. While I will gladly share how-to instructions if you cannot find the original subscription email from PayPal, you must physically press the unsubscribe button on your end to cancel your automatic payments.
Q: Do I need a PayPal account to be a member?
A: No, when you sign up you will have the option of paying via card of your choice as well.
Q: How is this different than using an online Macro Calculator?
